The Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We have an all-volunteer staff, so every donation goes directly to supporting the next generation of writers and artists in the form of creative residencies and cultural events at our villa and cultural center in Sezze Romano, Italy.

We seek funding for two main purposes. First, an operating fund to support the continuation of creative residencies and cultural programming. Second, a fund for ongoing property maintenance, including expenses necessary to maintain the residency and communal spaces as well as the editorial archive in perpetuity.
